About
Karim Omran is an Egyptian advertising and portrait photographer, photography instructor and self-taught musician based between London and Cairo.
Raised in Cairo, Karim, 35, was contemplating a career as a dentist when he started growing passion for visual storytelling through photography.
After graduating from dentistry, he embarked on an exciting journey that would make him follow his passion and shift his career to be a full-time photographer.
Realising that the camera is merely a tool, Karim is always trying to translate the floating scattered ideas inside his head into powerful imagery through meticulous strong compositions and sculpted lighting.
He also believes that the tiniest details make the biggest difference.
His clients include Vodafone, Barclays, Exxon Mobil, Danone and P&G.
Karim has worked with world renowned agencies like Leo Burnett, BBDO, Wunderman Thompson, FP7 and Memac Ogilvy.
Being what he is, Karim hates onions and raisins!
